About Me

My name is Justin Gale, and I founded Typhon Games in 2023 after sitting on a small card game idea for 7 long years. That idea was my first game, Shards of the Aegis, which had a successful relaunch at the end of 2023. My second game, The Brightview Haunting, will be the beginning of my journey into my true passion, which is horror.

I live in New England with my wife, 2 cats, and 2 snakes. When I'm not developing and designing my games, I love playing video games and watching horror movies. I've always had so many ideas in my head for games, and I can't wait to start my vision of designing immersive and atmospheric board games in the horror genre.

Why Typhon Games for your name?

In Greek Mythology, Typhon is considered the personification of monsters and depicted as a fearsome creature. As a fan of many horror movies in the 80s with awesome creature designs, I want to bring original monsters to life in the board games I design. I want my games to feel like you're in a movie and have talented artists create monsters you won't forget.
