About Me
My name is Justin Gale, and I founded Typhon Games in 2023 after sitting on a small card game idea for 7 long years. That idea was my first game, Shards of the Aegis, which had a successful relaunch at the end of 2023. Although I enjoyed making it and learned a lot along the way, my true passion started when I began creating my second game, The Brightview Haunting.
I'm a huge fan of horror, so getting to dive into creepy settings and envisioning a formidable creature as the big bad was fun to play around with. Going forward, my goal is to make immersive and atmospheric board games in the horror genre that feel cinematic.

Why Typhon Games for your name?
In Greek mythology, Typhon is considered the personification of monsters and depicted as a fearsome creature. As a fan of many horror movies in the 80s with awesome creature designs, I want to bring original monsters to life in the board games I design. I want my games to feel like you're in a movie and have talented artists create monsters you won't forget.
